DHAMMA SOLDIERS EDUCATION & REFORM MOVEMENT
Ven. Sumedha Bodhi is a visionary Buddhist monk, author, and educator from India dedicated to spreading wisdom and compassion. With a passion for lifelong learning and spiritual growth, he strives to inspire others on their own path.Venerable Sumedha Bodhi has conceptualized the “Dharma Soldier Education & Reform Movement” (DS(E&R)M) based on the struggles he has faced in his spiritual journey at a personal level and in leading a righteous life at a social level.
Ven.Sumedha Bodhi aims to ensure international support for DSERM through "people-to-people cooperation" to address suffering caused by corruption and misuse and misinterpretation of religion.
The DSERM is a unique, internationally supported reform movement that aims to educate people, eradicate corruption, and promote a moral based Art of Living through practicing mindfulness, meditation, and compassion. Dharma soldiers work to uproot “social, political, economic and environmental suffering and injustice.”
Ven. Sumedha terms the practices for Dhamma Soldiers as ‘Sadhana andSevana’ in right balance. It is a kind of an ‘art of living’ to alleviate suffering in themodern digital world. The movement encourages women to bring about positive change, interfaith, harmony, peace, and conflict resolution. Ven. Sumedha meditates his free contribution brings merit to both himself and others to go ahead on the spiritual path to reach Nirvana.
